JOHANNESBURG – South Africa’s efforts to ensure peace in the Middle East continue.
The country is back at the International Court of Justice filing a memorial on Monday.

ANC head of international relations, Nomvula Mokonyane, says the document contains facts and evidence to prove that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza.
Mokonyane said, “The submissions we also believe and are happy that it’s actually evidence that has been deprived to people of the world because of the dominance and influence of those who support the apartheid Israel against [sic] the genocide and killing.”
“It will demonstrate the bombing of the mosques, the killing of women in maternity wards.”
“It will demonstrate the extent of famine and poverty. It would also show how children on their way from school or going to school are maimed and killed by the Israeli apartheid defence force.”

She said, “It will demonstrate also what has now happened in terms of the attacks of neighbouring countries and also the violations of the resolutions of the United Nations.”
This is going to be evidence that we believe, all of us, must appreciate that it is then going to give validity to what we mean by genocide against the people of Palestine and the atrocities that have been experienced in Gaza.”
